Joe Harrison

Joe Harrison is a documentary photographer based in Christchurch/Ōtautahi. Over the past two decades he has travelled and photographed extensively overseas and within his native New Zealand/Aotearoa. In the last decade he has focused on photographing everyday life on Aotearoa's three main islands as part of his ongoing “Kiwiland” project. A keen tramper, skier and mountain biker, Joe is regularly out enjoying (and photographing) his outdoor adventures whenever possible.
Joe's work has been widely published by media outlets and commercial clients, including North & South, Kiwi Diary, NZ Herald, Avenues, Wilderness, NZskier, Skialper, Eurasianet, KiwiRail, Roddy Scott Foundation and Prime Consulting International.
