Auckland.
As a lifelong lover of photography, I have a deep appreciation for the art of capturing moments and emotions through the lens of a camera. From a young age, I was captivated by the combination of technology, science, and art in photography, and it is this beautiful balance that continues to draw me to this medium.

My love for photography started with a simple snapshot I took of my grandfather at a family gathering when I was just five or six years old. The picture holds a special place in my heart and reminds me of the joy and laughter shared with my grandfather during those carefree times. It symbolises what photography means to me: capturing a moment, a place, an emotion and preserving it forever.

In my teenage years, I was finally able to start my photography journey when I acquired my first camera. My love for long exposure photography was sparked by a talented photographer friend who showed me the ropes and taught me about the art of composing and playing with light. My experiences exploring underground facilities with my friend and capturing those moments solidified my affection for this style.

As I have evolved as a photographer, I have expanded my portfolio to include street photography and model shots, as well as action shots. I have discovered that the streets offer an endless canvas for capturing unique and captivating images, and my love for street photography was reinforced during a trip to Europe, where I realised that even if you remain in the same spot, the weather, time, and people change so rapidly that no two shots are ever identical.

I am excited to bring my passion and skills to the Picky team and to document the vibrant culture and lifestyle of New Zealand. With every shot I take, I aim to capture the essence of the moment and to preserve it for generations to come. I believe that my love for photography, combined with the opportunities and resources provided by Picky, will allow me to grow as an artist and to make a lasting impact on the world of photography.
